Acerola Peel Off Mask is a Vitamin C rich mask intended to give a firming and soothing effect after facials, extractions, chemical peels, microdermabrasions, etc. Acerola Peel Off Mask is intended for any facial and body treatment especially Vitamin C treatments that give luminosity and antioxidant treatment. It is made alginate which is a marine complex derived from Laminaria seaweed.
Our Acerola mask contains high levels of Vitamin C derived from the berry called Acerola. A pure and natural mask containing no preservatives. This mask also contains crystalline ascorbic acid. Vitamin C is known for its action against oxygenated free radicals which initiate reactions causing irremediable damage to cell components. Interception by vitamin C molecules inhibits the damaging action of free radicals.
Vitamin C stimulates the synthesis of collagen and also has some inhibition on melanin production. Acerola berry (Malpighia glabra) is known as the fruit with the highest content of Vitamin C (up to 17%). Alginate has hypoallergenic qualities which makes it a suitable treatment for all skin types, even the most sensitive. It’s an ideal base for a professional facial treatment due to its combination of natural freshening and skin-tightening sensations.
